Ordering

How is my payment handled?
Payments are taken through Stripe or PayPal in Canadian Dollars. You do not need to have a PayPal account to purchase; you can use the PayPal service to pay with your regular debit or credit card. We do not store any of your debit/credit card details.

Paying by bank transfer 
Please contact me to pay by bank transfer, I can take payments from both UK and Canadian accounts This saves me credit card fees.

Shipping

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are estimates and there are instructions with each piece around which option to choose on check out (“small”, “medium” or “large” painting). Depending on location there may be additional fees, please get in touch with any specific enquiries.

Shipping times
Most orders will be packed and shipped within 5 working days or I will be in touch with any delays. Within Canada, pieces are sent by courier depending on size and weight. All shipments are tracked and require a signature on delivery. If you need a piece by a specific date, please contact me first to make sure it can reach you in time. There may be an extra charge for rush deliveries according to your requirements.

Pick up from my studio

Yes, you can select the shipping option to “Pickup.” My home is in Nelson BC. Once your order has been placed I will email you to arrange a time to meet.

Large or high value artworks
Some couriers have limits on dimensions or what they will carry so certain pieces have individual requirements. This will be noted in the Shipping details with each product listing. Please checkout as usual; an estimated shipping charge will be added to your order. I will then contact you via email to discuss specialist shipping options before the artwork is despatched. According to the delivery service chosen, actual costs may be higher than the estimated cost shown.

International shipping
Yes, I can ship to most countries, although there may be additional cost and it will take longer to arrive depending on your location. Message me with your details and the piece you would like and I can give you shipping options.

Overseas shipments (outside of Canada) may be subject to import duties and taxes according to the laws of the destination country. Any additional charges are at the customer’s expense. I have no control over these charges and accept no responsibility for additional charges.

Shipping costs contribute towards packing supplies, labour and transit fees.

 

Returns

What if it arrives and I don’t like it?
I want you to be fully happy with your new artwork so I offer a Buy-Back agreement.

If a piece is not as you expect, you have 7 days to contact me by email and request a refund (within Canada). Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery using the same service it was sent to you. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 14 days. Payment is refunded minus the cost of shipping and PayPal fees.

What about Overseas Returns?

What if my piece arrives damaged?
All work is carefully packed and wrapped. If you receive a work that has been damaged in transit, please contact us within 7 days and if possible keep a photograph. 

Terms of Use

  • All copyright is retained by the artist, Kat Williamson Art. Art must not be reproduced without the artist’s written permission.

  • Kat Williamson Art retains the right to use reproductions of any originals to promote her work or to sell as print - signed or unsigned and of any size, on this website or elsewhere - unless explicitly requested by the buyer and agreed to by the buyer and Kat Williamson

  • The image you see may be different due to slight variation between browsers, devices and screen settings. Any variation between the image represented and the actual artwork is not deemed a fault and such inconsistencies will not be a valid reason for return.

  • Kat Williamson Art is not responsible for changes in any works due to climate, humidity, moister, molds, infestation, warping, fading or other events that occur over time.

  • Security of Data: We will take all reasonable care, in do far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure. We use a secure external payment process. In the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when ordering from the website.

    We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this website (or any part thereof) with or without notice to you; you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the website.

  • Change these conditions from time to time; your continued use of the website (or any part thereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check to determine whether the conditions have been changed.

  • Any order placed through the website is not binding until the work has been despatched. Artwork listed may be withdrawn from sale at any point by the artist for reasons such as, but not limited to, sale elsewhere or withheld for exhibition display.
